Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of SilverBullet+ (“the app”), built and maintained by Zef Hemel (“we”, “us”).
Acceptance
By downloading or using SilverBullet+, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, do not use this application.
The app
SilverBullet+ is a native desktop application that wraps the open source MIT-licensed SilverBullet engine. It runs locally on your machine and stores your data as files on your filesystem.
Your data
Your notes and files are stored locally on your machine. We do not have access to your data. You are responsible for backing up your files. If you enable sync with a remote server, you are responsible for the security and availability of the server you decide to sync with.
License
SilverBullet+ is proprietary software. During the beta period, the app is provided free of charge. Future versions may require a paid license depending on use case. The open source SilverBullet engine that powers the app is licensed separately under its own open source license.
You may install and use SilverBullet+ on any number of personal devices. You may not redistribute, reverse engineer, or modify the app binary.
Updates
The app may check for and download updates automatically. We may release updates that change functionality, fix bugs, or address security issues.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
